Do you have need of research assistance in the areas of archaeology, history (including family and local), anthropology,
or the humanities? Have you hit a wall in your own research and need some help? If so, I offer research and consultation services
on a contract basis, and will make every effort to produce an arrangement that is beneficial to both parties.
While I specialize in the humanities and social sciences, research topic requests are quite varied. They include,
but are not limited to:
Area and Local History
Area and Local Folklore
...and much more
There are generally three stages of the contract research process:
1) INITIAL CONTACT-This stage includes the first contact via email, phone, or in person, and allows
you to propose the topic for which you require research. It allows me to gain a further understanding of what is required
for the potential project.
2) TIMELINE & CONTRACTING-Upon review, I will promptly present a proposed timeline for completion
of the work and report(s) and a price. Each project is different and therefore price shall be determined by labor, length,
and time. At this point we negotiate the price and deadline frame. In general for report costs, the following
scale is the reference:
and so on
If travel and related expenses or fees are involved, per diem payment may also be a factor.
3) PROJECT-This stage is the core of the research contract, in which I perform the research and/or
writing upon which we have agreed.
4) COMPLETION-Your research request is fulfilled, if applicable your report(s) is delivered, and payment
conveyed for services rendered.
